Birthdays

Thanks to Eurécia, you'll never have an excuse to forget the birthday of Marine from accounting or Patrick from communications 😊! You can activate the “Birthday” card on the home page for all your employees!

You'll find today's birthdays as well as tomorrow's, so you don't forget to buy some candles and a cake for your favorite coworker!

 

 

Do you want to enable this feature? Some employees don't want to share their birthday? No problem, we'll explain everything just below.

 

Who is concerned by this article?

Administrators in charge of setting up the platform and Eurécia users. This feature is reserved for companies that have subscribed to the HR Portal module.

 

On the program in this article:

• As an administrator, enable or disable the 'Birthday' feature
• As a user, I do not wish to communicate my date of birth

 

As an administrator, enable or disable the 'Birthday' feature

Access: Admin area > General settings > Company file > Configuration tab

To activate this feature for all your employees, nothing could be simpler, go to the 'Configuration' tab of your company file:

• In the 'HR Portal' section, I check the box "Disply the birthdays on the home page".
• Save.

 

When this feature is enabled, the “Birthday” card will appear on the home page for all your employees. Their photo (or trigraph) is displayed on the day of their birthday and the day before. By hovering over this image with my mouse, I can see the name of the person concerned. The year of birth is never indicated.

 

If some of your employees do not want to see their birthday displayed, they have the option to refuse it directly.

 

As a user, I do not wish to communicate my date of birth

Access: My account > My preferences

If you don't want my birthday to be announced on my colleagues' home page, go to 'My preferences' by clicking on your photo (or trigraph) at the top right of your home screen:

 

 

• Uncheck the box "Show my birthday on my colleagues' homepage",
• Save.
