Don't panic, they are not lost! Eurécia allows you to round your leave balances in just a few clicks!

What does the law say?
In France, when the number of accrued leave days is not a whole number, the duration of the leave is rounded up to the next whole number (for example: 26,5 leave days will be rounded to 27 days).

What if we told you that Eurécia could automatically round accrued rights the day after the accrual end date?
Access: Menu > Admin area > Congés et absences > Types de congés et absences
The following box must be checked in the relevant absence type before the accrual end date:
An example:
- Before rounding and before accrual end date:
-
After accrual end date and rounding:
A line to this effect appears on the balance:
And that's it! You're all set, your employees see their balances rounded up to the next whole number. ✅😊
⚠️ Warning!
- If the box is checked after the accrual end date, there will be no retroactivity on the balance.
Don't want Eurécia to do the work for you and prefer to make the changes manually?
No problem! This is entirely possible
Access: Congés et Absences > Vue Manager > Compteurs équipe

- This operation is irreversible!
- It is mandatory to round accrued rights after the last balance increment.
Good to know!
This feature automatically rounds accrued rights and not the balance.
- In the filter area, set:
- Leave type (example: paid leave)
- The period (example: 2026)
- If only a few balances need to be rounded, select them manually by checking the box at the beginning of each row in the 'Solde des congés' table.
- If all balances need to be rounded, click the 'Actions' button at the top of the table, then select 'Tous les éléments'.
- Click the 'Actions' button, then click 'Arrondir les droits acquis'
- Select the rounding rule to apply
- To the next whole number (example: 24.16 will be rounded to 25)
- To the nearest half (example: 24.16 will be rounded to 24)
- To the half above (example: 24.16 will be rounded to 24.5)
- Enter an adjustment comment that will appear in the history of each balance
- Click the 'Pré-visualiser' button
- Check the results obtained
- Click 'Appliquer' to round accrued rights
- Click 'Retour' to cancel the operation
You're all set again! 😊
