Analytical axes or accounts?
In Eurécia, we often speak of analytical axes and accounts. Analytical management allows you to allocate time and costs to your activities via different modules: Time & Activities, Expense Reports, Travel Request, resource schedule.
What is it?
You can create 5 analytical axes and customize them to meet your needs.
'Axes' allow you to create analysis types such as 'client', 'tasks', or 'missions' for example. 'Accounts' are the data or values attached to these axes. You can create as many hierarchical levels and as many accounts as you wish.
For example:

In this article, we will look at the settings for analytical axes. If you wish to access the settings for analytical accounts, click here: Add or modify analytical accounts.
Add or modify analytical axes
Access: Admin Area > General settings > Analytical axes > Open

- Open an existing analytical axis by clicking on it or click the '
' button to add a 'New Analytical Axis' - Enter a description
- Enter the currency to use
- The 'Active' checkbox allows you to enable or disable the use of this analytical axis (setting can be modified at any time). More info on archiving and deleting analytical axes in this article: Delete analytical axes or accounts.
⚠️ Warning!
Analytical axes should not be generated by year. Axes are your analysis types (client/project/tasks/mission) and are not managed like analytical accounts.
As a reminder: you can only create 5 types of axes.
