Working time flexibility allows you to set up, depending on needs, an automatic modification of the schedule at which the employee clocks, or an automatic alert for a person (manager for example) based on the schedule at which the employee clocks.
You can manage different rules for each work schedule.
Working time flexibility
Access: Admin area > Paramètres généraux > Ouvrir Horaires de travail
⚠️ Warning!
This flexibility can only be configured for people with external or internal clocking in Eurécia. Only the Kaba clocking terminal does not allow managing it.
- Select the relevant work schedule
- Click the 'Flexibilité' tab
- Settings are configured by slot:
- 1st slot (arrival time)
- 1st slot (long break time)
- 2nd slot (return from long break)
- 2nd slot (departure time)
Example: 1st slot (arrival time) – Tolérance Avant
- The 1st slot defined in the work schedule is 09h00-12h00, and I tolerate employees arriving between 8h30 and 9h00
- On the 1st slot (arrival time), I therefore set a 'tolérance avant' of 30 minutes
When an employee arrives before the defined work schedule, then:
- If they arrive at 8h40: they arrive less than 30 minutes before the scheduled time (between 8h30 and 9h00), so Eurécia applies the clock time by default (8h40)
- If they arrive at 8h20: they arrive very early, more than 30 minutes before the scheduled time, so Eurécia takes into account:
- If 'Appliquer l’heure de l’horloge' is checked, their actual arrival time (8h20)
- If 'Appliquer l’heure de la tolérance' is checked, the tolerated arrival time (8h30)
Example: 1st slot (arrival time) – Tolérance Après
- The 1st slot defined in the work schedule is 09h00-12h00, and I tolerate employees arriving between 9h00 and 9h10
- On the 1st slot (arrival time), I therefore set a 'tolérance après' of 10 minutes
When an employee arrives after the defined work schedule, then:
- If they arrive at 9h05: they arrive less than 10 minutes after the scheduled time (between 9h00 and 9h10), so Eurécia applies the clock time by default (9h05)
- If they arrive at 9h20: they arrive more than 10 minutes after the scheduled time, so Eurécia takes into account:
- If 'Appliquer l’heure de l’horloge' is checked, the actual arrival time (9h20)
- If 'Appliquer l’heure de la tolérance' is checked, the tolerated arrival time (9h10)
Example: 1st slot (departure time) – Tolérance Avant
- The 1st slot defined in the work schedule is 09h00-12h00, and I tolerate employees leaving between 11h30 and 12h00
- On the 1st slot (departure time), I set a 'tolérance avant' of 30 minutes
When an employee leaves before the defined work schedule, then:
- If they leave at 11h40: they leave less than 30 minutes before the scheduled time (between 11h30 and 12h00), so Eurécia applies the clock time by default (11h40)
- If they leave at 11h20: they leave very early, more than 30 minutes before the scheduled time, so Eurécia takes into account:
- If 'Appliquer l’heure de l’horloge' is checked, their actual departure time (11h20)
- If 'Appliquer l’heure de la tolérance' is checked, the tolerated departure time (11h30)
Example: 1st slot (departure time) – Tolérance Après
- The 1st slot defined in the work schedule is 09h00-12h00, and I tolerate employees leaving between 12h00 and 12h10
- On the 1st slot (departure time), I set a 'tolérance après' of 10 minutes
When an employee leaves after the defined work schedule, then:
- If they leave at 12h05: they leave less than 10 minutes after the scheduled time (between 12h00 and 12h10), so Eurécia applies the clock time by default (12h05)
- If they leave at 12h20: they leave more than 10 minutes after the scheduled time, so Eurécia takes into account:
- If 'Appliquer l’heure de l’horloge' is checked, the actual departure time (12h20)
- If 'Appliquer l’heure de la tolérance' is checked, the tolerated departure time (12h10)
The same process applies to setting up the 2nd slot.
If needed, an email can be sent to a chosen person (internal or external) when the employee arrives outside the defined tolerances, for all slots.
Good to know!
For lunch, a mandatory break can be defined: simply enter the mandatory break time between slots, in minutes, in the box provided at the top of the page.
If this break time is not respected, it will be automatically increased until the defined value is reached.
