By default, tracker balances cannot be taken after the deadline of the tracker.
For example, in France for paid leave, the legal duration of taking paid leave is from 01/06 to 31/05, so the deadline for taking paid leave is 31/05.
If balances are to be taken after the deadline, it is possible to extend it for all employees entitled to this type of leave.

Authorize to take days on N-1 tracker
Access : Admin Area > staff leave and absences > Staff leave profiles
Select the profile you want:
- On the line corresponding to the type of absence in step 1, if the N-1 period is set to "not authorized": edit it and put 1 or 2.
- Save.
Define the number of extension days
Access : Admin Area > staff leave and absences >Staff leave and absences types
- Click on the staff leave you want:
- In 'Accrual Mode', enter the number of extension days (beware of the counting method: worked, working, calendar) in the field corresponding to the N-1 period in the "Staff leave authorized x days after end of statutory period'

Example: Enter the value "61" in the field corresponding to the period N-1 to extend the original deadline from 31/05 to the new deadline of 31/07.
