Eurécia allows to configure night shifts. It is also possible to automatically activate calculation rules for an extra working time: per day, combined (or not) with the existing weekly overtime calculation rules.
Night shifts can therefore be counted on the actual working day, or on the day on which the shift begins. More generally, the hours after midnight worked during the night from Sunday (week A) to Monday (week B) can all be counted as week A.

Configuration
When night shifts are realized on two days, the software allows to declare the time worked on one and only line, on the day the employee took up his position. (9:00 pm - 6:00 am for example).
On the other hand, if the operating mode defined by the law is applied, then a line on day 1 must appear from 9 pm to midnight, for example, and a line from midnight to 6 am on day 2.
This won't have any impact on timesheets, in both cases, it will be: from 9 pm to 6 m.
If a badge reader has been set up, the fact to use the swipe card when leaving will initiate a leave time.
In other words, both modes of operation are compatible with the use of a badge reader.
Night shifts are usually increased. Here is the process to follow:
- Workshift calendar configuration
- Overtime and special times configuration
- Flexibility configuration in case of using a badge reader
Workshift calendars
Access : Admin Area > General settings > Open Workshift calendars > Open the concerned workshift > General
Workshift schedules have to to follows this process: first slot/ second slot on the working days.
Two examples :
Monday : 2 pm - 7 pm / 9 pm - 00 am
Tuesday : 00 am - 6 am / 9 pm - 00 am
Wednesday : 00 am - 6 am / 9 pm - 00 am
or
Monday 2 pm - 7 pm / 9 pm - 00 am
Tuesday : .. - .. / 9 pm - 6 am
Wednesday : .. - .. / 9 pm - 6 am
By opting for the first example, it is possible to count the hours worked on the day on which the employee takes up his position or on the following day.
In the second example, you need to define the day in which the bonuses will be effective, the day the employee takes up his position
To configure that, please enable 'Special management' to 'Allocate the duration of all consecutive time slots on the starting day (in case of night shifts)' in 'Advanced settings'.
Also, if you use a badge reader, you need to define the maximum hours authorized.
If, for example, days of work don't have to exceed 10 hours you can configure and automatic end time.
You need to configure that in the company record:
Access : Admin Area > General settings > Open the company record > Configuration
- Go to 'Time & Activities Settings'
- Define the number of hours in 'Maximum duration between two consecutive time slots (in case of night shifts)'
- Save
This number will appear if you enable 'Night shift special management' in the workshift calendar.
it is possible to count and increase overtime, which is therefore beyond the limits of the working hours.
Overtime hours and special times
It is possible to activate a calculation as soon as an employee works on a certain day (Sunday, Saturday or any day of the week).
it is possible to accumulate two rules: if the employee works on weekends and because he does overtime hours.
