The different leave balances
Do you notice differences between your balance on the homepage and your counter balance? Rest assured, everything is normal, we explain why:
🏠 Available as of today
What you can still request today, taking into account all future absences already reserved.

📆 Balance as of today
What you have earned minus what you have taken. Future absences are NOT taken into account.

What you will have left at the end of the period, projecting all remaining permissions and all planned absences.

👉 The homepage displays the available balance, which is different from the other two. This is normal and intentional: Eurécia “reserves” the days for future absences to prevent your balance from becoming negative.

Where to find leave balances?
For an employee
Access: Menu > Leave & Absences > Mes droits
This is where you find all your leave and absence balances.
For a manager
Access: Menu > Leave & Absences > Compteurs équipes
You can view the balances for your entire team from this dedicated space.

Understanding the table column by column
| Début/fin de cumul | The dates of the period over which your leave is earned (e.g., from 01/06/2026 to 31/05/2027). |
| Période | The year of the balance concerned. |
| Type | The type of absence (paid leave, RTT, sick leave…) and the unit: (d) for days, (h) for hours. |
| Acquis | Total days earned from the start of the period until today. |
| Pris à ce jour | Total days already used from the start of the period until today. |
| Solde à ce jour | What you have left now = Acquis − Pris à ce jour. |
| Droits restant à acquérir | The days that you will still earn between now and the end of the period (if earning is not finished on this balance) |
| Absences planifiées | Leave already requested but not yet used (approved or pending approval). |
| Solde simulé à fin de période | What you will have left at the end of the period, all calculated: Solde à ce jour + Droits restant à acquérir - Absences planifiées |
Important rule
🚦 Eurécia does not allow requesting leave that you have not yet earned. The system checks your available permissions in real time, taking into account your already approved leave, even future.
In short: you can only request what you will have actually earned, minus what you have already planned on the date of the absence.

👉 Planned absences include approved absences AND those pending approval. The system reserves them in both cases to secure your balance.
A few practical examples
Example 1 — A single absence submitted in the future
Situation: Thomas requested 8 days of leave from December 22 to January 4
💰 Solde à ce jour (today) 19,84 d
✈️ Approved absence from 22/12 to 04/01 (reserved by the system) − 8 d
📈 Permissions that will be earned between now and January 4 + 4,16 d
🏠 Balance displayed on the homepage = 16 d
💡 The system simulates the balance at the end date of the absence and displays this result on the homepage. This is the number of days you can still use without risking going into negative.
Example 2 — Multiple absences submitted in the future
Situation: Sophie has multiple planned absences
The system will simulate the balance at the end of each absence and retain the smallest balance obtained.

🏠 The smallest balance is retained on the homepage = 8,48 d
💡 The system always chooses the lowest balance among all simulations. This guarantees that you can never request more than what you have, even taking into account all already planned absences.
🎯In summary: why are these figures different?
| 🏠 Homepage | Displays what you can still request today, taking into account all your future absences (approved and pending). This is the most “secure” figure. |
| 💰 Solde à ce jour | Displays the raw status of your balance at time T, without taking the future into account. May appear higher than the balance on the homepage. |
| 🔮 Solde simulé à fin de période | Projection of what you will have at the end of the period if nothing changes. Useful for planning ahead. |
💡 It is therefore normal to have different figures depending on where you look! Each balance has a specific purpose. If in doubt, the balance on the homepage represents what you can actually request.
