Discover your Secret Colleague with Eurécia

 

As part of the French national Quality of Life and Working Conditions Week (QVCT in French) which will take place from June 16 to June 20, 2025, create a great team dynamic by offering your employees the chance to participate in a Secret Colleague event!   Take advantage of it quickly! This is a new and temporary feature that will disappear on July 2, 2025 (but which could well come back next year if you like it 😉).   Quality of life, you say? Yes! The notion of Quality of Life and Working Conditions aims to create an environment where everyone can thrive professionally, while taking care of themselves and others. As part of this effort, the Secret Colleague event can help make your work environment attractive and encourages the engagement of all employees!

Please note! The Secret Colleague will be activated for a limited time from June 2nd to July 5th 2025.

 

What is a Secret Colleague?

Juste like a Secret Santa, the Secret Colleague is randomly drawn (among your colleagues, in this case). Everyone who participates will have to pamper the colleague they drew with little attentions throughout the QVCT week, without being discovered. 🎁

 

How to launch the Secret Colleague event in my company

Access: Home page > Secret Colleague Card

Have you just discovered a new card on your homepage?

This card will only be visible to the administrators until the Secret Colleague event is launched.

As a reminder, the Secret Colleague event will be available on your platform for a limited time, from June 2nd to July 2nd 2025 .

 

 

To initiate the event:

• Click 'Let's do this!' on the event card
• Choose the scale on which the Secret Colleague draw will be organised:
  • Company: the draw will be organised company-wide.
  • Department or structure: the employees will only be able to draw a colleague from their department or structure.
• Determine the registration deadline,
• Detail the context, course and/or rules of the Secret Colleague event,
• Click on 'Save the changes'.

 

 

Once the event is launched, your colleagues will receive a notification alerting them of the event and will see the Secret Colleague card appear on their homepage. They will then be able to decide whether or not to participate and, if they choose to, to provide some information about their preferences to help their Secret Colleague.

 

 

Keeping an eye on the Secret Colleague event

Once the Secret Colleague event is launched, you can follow and modify it from the Secret Colleague card by clicking on the three dots.

 

 

From there, you can :

• Change the settings of the event,
• Create an Office Life post to announce the event,
• Send a reminder to employees to encourage them to register

The draw will be launched automatically after the registration deadline date. Each registered employee will receive, directly on their Eurécia account, the name of the person to whom they are to offer a small gift or attention during the event.

 

Reveal My Secret Colleague

Each employee can (while shielded from wandering eyes) reveal their Secret Colleague, whom they will have to pamper during the event, by simply clicking on 'Reveal my Secret Colleague'.

 

 

5 ideas for pampering your colleagues

1. Surprise Breakfasts or Snacks :
   - Bring pastries, fresh fruit, or your Secret Colleague's favorite snacks.
   - Organise a surprise coffee break with your favorite drink (tea, gourmet coffee, smoothies).
   
   
2. Motivating and Encouraging Messages :
   - Leave post-it notes with inspirational quotes or words of encouragement on your Secret Colleague's desk.
   - Send an email or a personal message praising the work and qualities of your Secret Colleague.
   
   
3. Personalized Gifts :
   - Offer a small personalized gift (engraved pen, mug with name, notebook).
   - Prepare a relaxation kit (scented candles, tea bags, hand lotion).
   
   
4. Public Recognition :
   - During a team meeting, publicly praise your Secret Colleague's accomplishments without being caught.
   - Write a post on the intranet or internal social network highlighting the contributions of your Secret Colleague.
   
   
5. Pleasant Working Environments :
   - Discreetly decorate your Secret Colleague's office with items that they like (plants, photos).
   - Offer to take on some of the workload during a stressful period.

By implementing these small gestures, colleagues can create an atmosphere of kindness and mutual support, helping to strengthen bonds and cohesion within the company. The Secret Colleague can become a fun and effective tool for achieving HR objectives while having fun.
