Set up IP address restrictions

Access: Admin area > Données & Sécurité > Sécurité

Access to the Eurécia platform can be controlled by IP address.

In the “Sécurité” menu, you can enter one or more IP addresses, or even IP address ranges, which will be the only ones authorized to connect to Eurécia to limit cyberattack risks.

• In Type, choose an IP address (above) or an IP address range, as follows:

• Choose the IP version:
  • IPv4 (4 bytes, in decimal format, separated by a period)
  • IPv6 (16 bytes, in hexadecimal format, separated by colons)
• Enter the IP address(es) you wish to authorize
• Enter the scope of the authorization given for this IP address, which can be defined as:
  • “Accès global” allows access to the Eurécia platform only via this or these IP addresses. If the user does not have the specified IP address, they will not be able to log in to the solution.
  • “Badgeuse” allows clocking only for users connected via this IP address. However, the rest of the platform will be freely accessible regardless of the user's IP address.
• Save

You can authorize as many IP addresses as you wish.

The event log will allow you to keep a history of security settings modifications.

User access control

Access: Admin area > Paramètres généraux > employee record > Administration tab > Accès plateforme section

When you enable IP address access control, by default all your employees are affected.

If you wish for certain users not to be affected by these restrictions:

• Open the employee record and go to the Administration tab
• Uncheck the 'Contrôler l'accès par adresse IP' box
• Save

Your employee will be able to access the platform without IP restriction.
