By default in the software, an employee on sick leave, for example, continues to accrue paid leave and RTT.
Eurécia allows you to prevent this accrual when certain types of absences are submitted (for example, sick leave).

The DDADUE law corrects a non-compliance of French law regarding paid leave. Thus, from now on, employees on sick leave due to an accident or a non-work-related illness will continue to accrue paid leave at a rate of 2 days per month, up to a limit of 24 days per year.
Thus, the setting of corrective impacts in Eurécia will need to be adapted.
You will find all the information on this subject right here: Leave accrual: the impacts of the DDADUE law on Eurécia settings

You had configured rules in case of sick leave or work accident and following the decision of the Court of Cassation, you wish to remove them? Nothing could be simpler, go to this section: Delete a corrective impact.

- Impact on employee balances
- Cancel impacted leave
- Delete corrective impact rules
Set up corrective impacts in Eurécia
Access: Menu > Admin area > Leave & Absences > Ouvrir Profils congés & absences
- Click on the relevant leave profile
- Click on the “Paramètres” tab
- Go to the first section “Impact correctif sur cumul congés”
- Click on the “
” button to add an impact
- “Type de congés impactant l'acquisition des congés”:
- select the number of days: this number only serves to indicate the equivalence rule to Eurécia (for example, 1 day of the impacting type will impact 0.06851 days of the impacted type, or 31 days of the impacting type will impact 2.0834 days of the impacted type)
- select the leave type(s) that will impact accrual (clicking on “Ajouter un type” on several leave types impacts accrual in the same way)
- “Type de congés impacté”: enter the number of days and the impacted leave type
- “Délai de maintien de l'acquisition des congés”:
- specify a period during which the accrual will remain unchanged in the column (this allows, for example, stopping paid leave accrual only from the 14th day of sick leave)
- choose whether the accrual retention period is overall for the impacted type period, or resets to zero with each new request
- “Plafond de retrait”: indicate the maximum deduction cap per month or per week (this maximum is generally equal to the number of days accrued during the month or week)
- “Type de congés impactant l'acquisition des congés”:
Note: You can stop leave accrual during public holidays.
In the “Type de congés impactant” drop-down menu, select “Jours fériés” and indicate the desired calculation rule.
For example:
Example: impact of paid leave accrual in case of illness, from the 10th day of illness
Example: impact of compensatory leave accrual from the first day of unpaid leave taken
Impact on employee balances
The corrective impact must be made on the balance currently accruing when taking leave.
Impacts can occur at two moments:
- The day after the end date of the impacting leave: an employee submits 2 days of unpaid leave, their paid leave balance will be impacted as soon as they return
- On each accrual date of the impacted balances (when accrual is automated): an employee is on long-term sick leave, each month their balance will be deducted by the days accrued during that same month in order to cancel the incrementation
Cancel impacted leave
Access: Menu > Leave & Absences > Consultation/validation
You can export a leave statement beforehand as a reference to submit them again.
Note: when canceling leave that caused a corrective impact, a corrective calculation will take place the night following the cancellation to restore the rights the employee was deprived of. You should therefore carry out the following procedure:
- Cancel an absence that generated an impact
- Wait until the next day for the balance to be adjusted
- Modify the corrective impact settings
- Submit the absence again
Delete corrective impact rules
Access: Menu > Admin area > Leave & Absences > Leave profiles > “Paramètres” tab
To delete a corrective impact, you can delete the impact rule and manually update the balances concerned. Otherwise, the procedure mentioned above may prove useful.
Note: If an absence concerned by a corrective impact is accrued and calculated pro-rata to the activity percentage, then the corrective impact will also be applied pro-rata to this percentage.
