These skills can then be associated with collaborators, job types or even training courses.

Skill types allow me to categorize my skills by genre. Generally, skill types include: soft skills, hard skills...

- Enter the name and confirm.
- To modify an existing type, click on '
' and choose 'Edit type'.
Creating a skill
Access: Skills > Skills Catalogue
- Click on 'Create a skill',
- Enter the name, description, domain and associated type,
- Tick the 'Key Skill' box if applicable.
- Click on 'Create and close'.
And there you have it, your new skill is created!

Updating my skills catalogue
It is possible to update my catalogue manually by creating or modifying existing skills.
Skills Removal
Skills can only be removed if they are not linked to employees, job types or training programs.
If the skill cannot be deleted, the trash can icon will be grey and the reason will be shown in a pop-up.

Importing my skills catalogue
Step 1: Exporting my current skills catalogue
Access: Skills > Skills Catalogue
To easily update my skills catalogue, I can download the current catalogue by clicking on 'Export' and then on 'Skills catalogue':
Click on 'Export' to receive the file by email and in your notifications:
You will then be able to directly edit the file to modify, add or delete skills.
The file contains:
- Skill Code : This must be unique to each skill. It is automatically generated by Eurécia and identifies your skills so they can be updated. If a skill already exists with the same code, it will be updated upon import.
- Skill (name)
- Skill domain
- Skill type
- Description
- Key
Step 2: Importing my skills catalogue
Once your file is edited, you can proceed with the import. To modify the file, it is important to note that:
- The domain and type are not mandatory but strongly recommended in order to facilitate reading and subsequent grouping.
- The 'Skill Name' field is mandatory.
- Skill Name
The modified file must be in xls, xlsx or csv format. Its size must not exceed 8MB.
Access: Admin area > Skills > Imports
Click on 'Import':
then choose 'Skills':
Add the file in step 3:
Proceed to combine the columns:
Check that everything is OK thanks to the preview, then click 'Continue':
A report is displayed, and you can finalise the import:
And there you have it, your skills catalogue is updated! 👏👏
