Prerequisites
Enter the date of birth
Access: Admin area > General settings > Employees & Users
If you have an age requirement for calculating seniority rights, your employees' date of birth must be entered in the 'Personal Information' tab of their employee file.

The calculation of age is based on the same date as the calculation of the number of years of seniority. This means: - either on the anniversary date of the seniority date - on a fixed date, i.e. the date of the last day of the period of the type of leave Your employee's date of birth must be correctly entered in their employee file! |
Enter the reference date
Access: Admin area > General settings > Employees & Users
Seniority rights are determined based on the seniority date specified in the employee's employment tab.
Configure seniority days
Access: Admin Area > Staff leave & absences > Staff leave & absence types
Seniority days can be credited in the Paid Leave tracker (for example) or in a new specific tracker. In this case, you will need to create a new leave type by following this guide: Create or modify a type of absence or leave
- Open the type of absence in which you want the seniority days to be added
- In the 'Seniority' box for the absence type, check the 'Seniority management' box to activate it
- In the 'Add days in' drop-down menu, I choose:
- Current period counter: days can be taken as soon as they are acquired
- Counter for the current period being accumulated: the days can only be taken from the following period (unless agreed by the employer)
- Enter the date of the addition of days:
- On the anniversary of the seniority date
- Fixed date: Seniority is calculated on the last day of the period of this type of leave and will be credited on the scheduled addition date
- Enter the number of days to be added for each year of seniority. The button '
' then allows you to duplicate the line quickly.
- Check the box 'Activate age condition' if I wish to configure the calculation of seniority days based on the age of my employees
- Enter a line of seniority per year by clicking on '
' from the 'Seniority (year)' column
- Add age criteria by clicking on '+' in the 'Age' column
- Indicate the number of days to be acquired per age group
- Click on the '
' from the 'Seniority (year)' column to add as many lines as necessary (the new line is duplicated with the same criteria as the previous one)
- Save
