Who is concerned by this article?
The administrator and managers in charge of validating timesheets and/or activities.
On the program in this article:
Time limits for Time & Activity sheets
Access: Admin area > General settings > Working hours
The minimum and maximum number of hours worked per day or week is defined in each work schedule.
- Open the work schedule
- In the 'Working days' section, click on 'More options' (1)
- In the 'Minimum and Maximum Hours' columns, enter thr daily minimum and maximum limits for both the Time tab and the Activities tab of the timesheets. (Depending on my setup, you may have both of these tabs or just one or the other.) (2)
- In the lines 'Minimum and maximum hours per week', indicate the weekly limits. (3)
- Save.
Overriding time limits in your timesheets and activities
Access: Time & Activities > Manager view > Timesheets validation
When you exceptionally wish for these time limits not to be respected, you must exceed the limits.
- Open the timesheet and/or activities concerned
- Go to the 'General' tab and check the box 'Override daily and weekly hourly maximums and minimums'
- Go to the 'Time' and/or 'Activities' tab to enter my hours or those of my colleague
- Save, submit for validation or validate
